eDonkey2000 is a centralized P2P network. Although centralized, the eDonkey2000 servers remain outside the control of the developers, sparing them legal trouble with the RIAA/MPAA. Unlike most P2P networks, the eDonkey2000 networks have enormous amounts of CD images (ISOs), movies and videos.
